Last night saw the final performance from Southmoor students of our ‘electrifying’ rendition of the much-loved hit musical ‘Grease’. Over four nights the cast performed in front of a packed-out audience, wowing with an energetic and well-rehearsed production that certainly got everyone in the groove including renditions of such favourite as ‘Grease Lightning’, ‘Summer Lovin’ and ‘The One That I Want’.
Congratulations to all the cast (who were one of our largest ensembles ever) and dedicated staff, as well as everyone who helped bring the performance to life both backstage and in our live band. A term’s worth of preparation and hard work have certainly paid off and we once again look forward to next year’s stage musical.
