GCSE Results Day 2025

Year 11 Students Celebrate GCSE Excellence

Last week we saw fantastic success at A Level, and today we were delighted to share the tremendous GCSE successes of our Class of 2025.

We thoroughly enjoy seeing our students grow in confidence during their time here but it’s the ultimate privilege to share in the pride and joy of so many amazing personal achievements on results day. Outcomes have yet again improved significantly at every level and we could not be prouder!

Don’t just take our word for it though, watch our students react as they receive their results for the first time in the video below!

Mrs Maw, Executive Headteacher commented:

‘I am beyond proud of our Class of 2025. They started school in the middle of a global pandemic and have worked hard, showing great resilience throughout their time here. They really do deserve this tremendous success. It is my privilege to be able to congratulate each and every student on their strength of character, their personal growth and their outstanding examination achievements. Each and every member of our school community plays an important role in supporting their journey to success and I know our students will join me in thanking our fantastic staff for their relentless belief and commitment, as well as their amazing parents and carers for their unfailing support. We wish each and every leaver continued success for the future and look forward to seeing those who are returning to the 6th Form at Southmoor very soon!

We are delighted that more students than ever before are progressing into the sixth form at Southmoor, well equipped with the skills needed to succeed at A Level and other Level 3 courses.

Congratulations to all of our students on their hard-earned results. We wish you all every continued success for the future!
