Careers Fair 2025

Thursday was our annual Careers Fair which took place once again in the Main Hall and Old Gym here in school. This year over 60 organisations came into school to engage with over 1000 students in Years 9 to 13 throughout the morning, followed by a Careers Cafe at lunchtime where students could return and talk informally to the organisations.

Visitors this year included all of the local higher education providers, and some from further afield, all of the local further education providers, many training providers, and a huge range of employers from all different sectors. We were delighted to be joined by a number of new organisations this year including Youth Focus NE, Thompsons of Prudhoe and Sheepfolds Stables. We are so grateful to all the organisations who gave up their time to come into school and speak exclusively with our students. The Careers Fair gives students the opportunity to see how what they are learning in the classroom links to the wider world and their own future plans.
