GCSE Results Day 2024

Year 11 Students Dive into Some Amazing GCSE Results

Last week we saw fantastic success at A Level, and today we were delighted to celebrate GCSE results with our Class 0f 2024.

We could not be more proud of our students, who had much to celebrate when they collected their results in school today. They are a credit to themselves, their families and their school. We witnessed some excellent outcomes over an emotional and we are very pleased to report that our progress scores at Key stage 4 and 5 have improved significantly at every level in comparison with last year.

Don’t just take our word for it though, watch our students react as they receive their results for the first time in the video below!

Mrs Maw, our Headteacher commented:

‘I am incredibly proud of our fabulous Class of 2024 for the hard work and resilience you have shown throughout your studies. It is my privilege to be able to congratulate you on your impressive progress and your examination achievements. We all wish everyone continued success in the future and look forward to seeing those of you who are returning to the 6th Form at Southmoor very soon! Every member of our school community has played an important role in supporting you in your journey and I’m deeply grateful to our fantastic staff, parents and carers for their relentless support.’

Well done to everyone who collected their results today you can find some more photos from an emotional morning below.
