This half term, Year 7 and year 9 students will receive a session from the Tyne and Wear Fire & Rescue Service during their Aspire lessons. This session will cover aspects such as: understanding and recognising the dangers of open water, having a clear understanding of Cold Water Shock, Water safety tips and how to help if someone is in trouble in the water.
