Over the course of January, Years 7 and 8 were encouraged to participate in Read for Good’s charity Readathon whereby pupils set themselves a target to read as many books as possible and gain sponsorship in a bid to raise money for local hospitals. Every penny raised will be used to buy children books and toys and pay for author visits when they are ill in hospital. We are incredibly proud to announce that our pupils raised a total of £398.95!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part but a special Congratulations go to 7MW for their phenomenal efforts to sponsor each other, raise a significant proportion of the fundraising total and read multiple books each. Well done!
