Year 7 pupils who have worked hard all year were chosen by their English teachers to visit Waterstones in town. There they were met with a book store expert who gave them an insight into the history and story behind Waterstones. Pupils then played Book shop Bingo, participated in a book quiz and chose a book they would recommend to others to be shared on the Waterstones notice board for other Sunderland customers. Last but not least, pupils were given a giftcard worth £10 each to select their own book from the shelves. Tom Tindle and Hannah Martin selflessly chose books for their siblings rather than themselves!
